Is my existing alarm compatible with Olarm?

Olarm MAX connects to supported panels including Paradox, DSC, Texecom, IDS, Honeywell and Orisec. We also integrate with electric fences (e.g. Nemtek, JVA), gates (Centurion, Digidoor, DTS, ET, Gemini), and many CCTV systems. Check the supported panel list before you buy, or ask an installer to confirm.

Do I need to replace my alarm panel?

No. Olarm connects to your existing panel—no rip-and-replace. You keep your keypads, sensors, and wiring. A certified installer typically fits the communicator in 30–45 minutes.

What happens during load shedding or power cuts?

Olarm MAX has an internal backup battery and dual-SIM connectivity. If power or one network fails, it switches to the backup path so your system stays connected.

Is there a subscription or monthly fee?

Yes. Olarm devices need an active subscription for connectivity and app access. Professional monitoring is available through our armed response partners.
